Maintenance checks

Like any other building work, the products and materials used for fire safety must also be subject to maintenance checks that guarantee their functionality throughout their entire useful life. It is well known that through constant maintenance checks planned over the years it is the first requirement to identify possible deterioration or damage and allow a rapid recovery of the deterioration. The maintenance checks must be carried out with different timing depending on their invasiveness on the material, in fact in the case of visual checks the cycle of checks can also be six-monthly.

The timing must be defined in a specific document called the Maintenance Plan of the work and must also include the measures to be taken in the event of negative results, or a poor state of conservation of the product, material or fire-fighting system.
